Burt's Habits and Hang-ups

When Del and I go somewhere, sometimes we leave Burt inside the house (to guard and protect it of course). But, we don't really worry about him because he's a really great dog. He doesn't chew on furniture, he doesn't go to the bathroom inside the house, and he doesn't smell. However, he has some pretty funny habits and hang-ups that he can't seem to shake. 

Here is an example of one of his signature moves. Del and I went to the gym this morning and when we got back, we found this: 

Two socks, two pairs of underwear, and a torn up cotton ball. It's one of the funniest things! He does it almost every time we leave him. And he knows that it is bad b/c he cowers around when we got home. This picture is of Del pretending to scold him...but we just laugh the entire time!
