B is for...Branson, Big Cedar, Brunch, Bass Pro, & Bob

I know, that is a lot of B-Words...
But (ha!) that pretty much sums up our Anniversary weekend!

Right after Del finished his test {yes, all 8 hours of it} we headed out for Branson! It was a much needed weekend of rest. We got in late Friday night and then shopped {or should I say "dominated"} the Outlet Malls on Saturday. We had to find some nice clothes for Del, because he has to dress up the majority of the time for rotations...and the boy is lacking in the "dressy" department. But not any more! We found some killer deals...like dress pants for $14! Yes Please!
The picture above is for my dad. He is a huge fan of the Under Armor. :)

After taking the Outlet Malls by storm, we went out for a nice dinner. Del called and made reservations, and when we got there they had our names printed on the menus!!
{Of course, they misspelled Del's name...but we are pretty use to that now.}
Landry's was a great restaurant, but the service was what really sold us. They were genuinely nice, and super attentive to detail. I would highly recommend it if you are in the Branson area.
On Sunday, we woke up and went to Bass Pro Shop on Branson Landing and then headed down to Big Cedar Lodge for Brunch. Oh my heavens. I'm convinced that it is the best Brunch on the planet. So after we stuffed ourselves silly, we loaded up the car and made on our way back to The Rock.
It was kind of weird once we got home, because we instantly became very productive with ironing, cleaning, and folding laundry....but once our steam ran out we ended the night by watching "What About Bob". Del had never seen it, and we thought it would be appropriate since Psych is his first rotation! ha!

All in all we had a great Anniversary weekend!
Del has a week before he starts back, so his days will be filled with a good mixture of relaxation & productivity while I'm at work.

I hope you all had a great weekend as well!

I assume that you left your camera in the car when y'all went to the wax museum. Because I KNOW you can't to Branson without hitting up that fabulous place! I'm thankful y'all had a great weekend to simply be together!!!
