Rachael's Bridal Portraits {Little Rock Wedding Photographer}

If you know Rachael, or have been on Facebook recently, you know that her and Zach tied the knot on Saturday in perfect southern-beauty and God-honoring fashion! Rachael couldn't have looked any more beautiful and the day not only sparkled with burlap, broaches, and lace....but it sparkled with the love of God that resides in both of their hearts and burst forth as they became man and wife. We took Rachael's Bridal Portraits a few weeks ago at the Capitol and I've had to remind myself {almost} daily "Do not blog about these or put these on Facebook" {and now, repeat each time you get on your computer}! Rachel is full of class and she looked absolutely stunning in her Bridals and on their Big Day! Her dress was new, but her veil was borrowed from her mother which made these pictures all the more special!

I love that you can see her reflection in the door of the Capitol.

Leyna's Bridal Portraits {Little Rock Wedding Photographer}

As I sit here and remember back at how beautiful Leyna looked for her Bridal Portraits and on her Wedding Day, I am wishing that I wasn't stuck in the "sweat pant purgatory" that is Thanksgiving Break! Ha. Maybe I'll go put on some mascara to spice up my favorite t-shirt/sweat pant combo!! :)

Natalie's Bridal Portraits {Little Rock Wedding Photographer}

I've been holding onto these pictures, because a part of me feels like as soon as I blog about them, then I will "officially be done with them"....and that brings a little *tear* to my eye. I've absolutely LOVED getting to know Travis and Natalie over this past year, talking details and ideas with Natalie over the phone, getting to know her family, spending the day with them as we photographed their engagement pictures...Part I AND Part II....and now, their Big Day! I could blame the "crazy pregnancy hormones" for getting so sentimental, but I'm pretty sure these are real feelings...especially because there have been many nights when Del and I've been sitting down at dinner and I've made the comment, "I really wish Travis and Natalie lived in LR so that we could hang out." Ha! So, with that being said, today and tomorrow's blog posts will be dedicated to a very special couple!

And of course, this Bridal Session would not have gone as smoothly as it did, if it weren't for Natalie's mom, Ann! She was prepared for the heat, leaves, dirt, and anything extra that might have come our way...all to make sure he daughter looked her absolute best for her Bridal Portraits!

Suzann's Bridal Portraits {Texarkana Wedding Photographer}

56 Engagement Pictures....92 Bridal Portraits....and 501 Wedding Pictures later....

I am finally ready to introduce to you the new, Mr. and Mrs. Whatley!!

Josh and Suzann are just the sweetest couple, who have been "together" longer than they can even remember. When I gave Suzann the "Lovie Card", she read the first line and said, "I can't really remember what my thought was when I first met Josh....because I was 3." Ha. Yes, they have known each other and have really grown up together for as long as they can remember. Their families support each other in ministry, so naturally they just love and adore the other....which made this marriage a very special event.

I knew that I was going to love Suzann from the first time I spoke with her on the phone, because when we spoke of her Sister-in-law, she said, "you mean my Sister-in-love". How precious is that?!? {Ummm, so precious that I may have to adopt that phrase!!} This family truly is filled with the Love of the Lord, and it was evident in their speech and actions throughout every encounter I had with them.

Josh and Suzann's Wedding Day started out like most others....except for it was in one of the most beautiful theaters I've ever {and probably will ever} see. It was the theater that Suzann danced in for 18 years, so it was so special and familiar to her and her family. The moment I walked in I thought, "How in the world am I going to be able to do this place justice?" It was breathtaking.

See what I mean?! It is a true treasure, placed right in the middle of downtown Texarkana!

Woah! Wait right there & grab a few tissues while you're at it because I simply adore this next picture.

....and then the Bride was ready to make her grand entrance!

For Suzann's Bridal Portraits, we just walked around downtown Texarkana....which is pretty much a photographer's paradise. We could have spent all day just walking around, going down alleys, finding cool archways and doors....but this was her Wedding DAY...so we just spent {cough} 2 hours playing and having a hay day with the camera! :)

We started out with some fun pictures right outside the theater by the Stage Door, since that had special meaning to Suzann and then we walked over to a building across the street for some more "classic" Bridal Portraits.

Side Note: Blaire and I became mildly obsessed with Suzann's shoes.

{I just love it when Brides put little special touches on their Big Day. It makes it so personal and fun.}

So, I'm just warning you in advance that there is a good possibility you will be dreaming about these shoes tonight because you've seen so many pictures of them!

Once the "classics" were over, Suzann busted out the purple gloves {to match her shoes of course} and we went out to get some more dramatic and fun pictures by the art museum.

Suzann, you were truly a stunning bride.

Little Rock Wedding Photographer: Olivia's Bridal Portraits

All I can say is....it is about to be Wedding Season up in here!

I don't think I could be more excited about this year's Wedding Season, and all the fun couples that we will have the opportunity to work with. But, don't worry....before we get to the mad rush of Weddings this summer, there are tons of sweet little baby bellies & baby cheeky's that need their pictures taken as well.

But, while we wait for those baby cheeky's to arrive...let me tell you about this sweet sweet girl I had the opportunity to meet. Olivia and I have a mutual friend that contacted me one day, and started out the conversation with, "I need a huge favor." ha. Olivia needed some bridal portraits done for the newspaper...so I was happy to jump in and help. She is one of those girls you just immediately want to become best friends with. She is super down to earth and is just beautiful inside and out. We took her pictures inside Fellowship Bible Church, here in Little Rock....which was a perfect location for a freezing cold dreary winter day.

I think the pictures speak for themselves about her beauty.

Personal Favorite. Once again, I'm tempted to get a 20x30 of this printed for my own house. :)

Olivia, it was a pleasure meeting you and your dad. I wish you all the best as a married woman and I hope that our paths cross again one day soon!
