Good news all the way around today! It is Del's first day of MED SCHOOL ORIENTATION!!! I can't believe it's actually happening. This is a picture of him before he left with Burt (don't worry moms, he didn't actually leave the house in goggles and a helmet). Then, after he left I received a call from Nahed El-Hassan (the lady I have been interviewing with for a nanny position) and I GOT THE JOB!! W00-Hoo!! The family is from Lebanon. They are really sweet. They have a little girl named Maya, who is turning 4 in three days and a little boy named Ryan, who will be two in the middle of the month. It's a great situation. I'm really looking forward to it. Del met them last night and got really excited about it also. I think mainly because they are a double physician family. Nahed (the wife) is in the Neo-Natal unit at Childrens Hospital and Sami (the husband) is in his Ophthalmology Residency. I can't wait to post pictures of this family. Well, I better get to cleaning b/c our family will be here on Thursday for Del's White Coat Ceremony. AHHH!! Lots to do!! Have a great day.

New Beginnings!

WAAAAA-HOOOOOO! All good news! Congrats on the job--you'll be the sweetest, most fun nanny. And, Congrats to Del on the official first day. I think he should have worn the helmet, and taken Burt along too. We're praying for you guys!
