Thanksgiving Goodness

I just realized that I haven't posted anything about Thanksgiving! Sorry! We had a GREAT four-day-weekend! I actually had the same break as Del did, so on Wednesday night, we headed up to NWA. We spent the first 2 nights at the Sloneker's, and the last 2 nights at the Streachek's. On Thursday afternoon, we headed out to (somewhere around) Pea Ridge for a HUGE Thanksgiving Lunch with my mom's side of the family. We do this every year...and it's always a blast. (Sorry I don't have any pictures from this) Then on Thursday night, we headed back to the Sloneker's for Thanksgiving dinner...and this is what we had.....

EVERYTHING!!!

This is my mother-in-law, Lynda, and she made all of this!! And what you can't see are three more fruit salads, four pies, one cake, and some yummy punch! Amazing. 

Everyone was really excited to dive into this goodness!!

After this, Justin (our brother-in-law) "died" from food-overload, and Charles (Del's Brother) tried his hardest to wake him up.

After this, we pretty much just hung out all weekend and spent some time with some friends and family...and hung out by the fire!

We enjoyed the snow on Sunday morning, but didn't enjoy it when we were stuck on 540 for an hour because there were so many wrecks. Oh well, Del was able to study...

but we also had Burt (our small dog) and Mack (our Great Pyrenees) in the car with us....so, they were freaking out slightly!

But, we got home safely...and we are back into the swing of things. Del has a test on Monday, so I see a lot of studying in his future!
