Fungal Formal

In addition to climbing Pinnacle Mountain this past weekend, Del and I also attended his Med School Formal....also known as, Fungal Formal. Isn't Del the most handsomest man you've ever seen?! Maybe I'm just biased.

It was fun to get all dressed up and have a nice meal with my handsome husband. We sat at a table with Chris and Jill Merrick, who we watch Lost with. They were our first Med School Couple Friends, and we still LOVE hanging out with them. They are some of the most genuine people you'll ever meet. We are so thankful that were placed in our lives.

But, maybe the highlight of the night was when the guys forced Chris Carter out on the dance floor, and he was immediately attacked by the ladies.Poor guy. He never saw it coming.

I thought I was going to wet my pants, because if you knew Chris, you'd know that he is one of the most kind-hearted yet most hilarious people you'll ever meet...so for this to happen to him was just classic.I'm pretty sure at this point he was trying to escape the ladies.

When the clock struck 10:30, Del and I called it a night. I know, we are in our mid 20's now... and we just can't stay up as late as we use to. :)

So, we said our good-byes and hopped into our chariot before the clocked struck midnight and we could realize that my glass slippers were really just painfully uncomfortable black pumps and that my prince charming was actually a Med School student whose castle is actually just a library.
Oh well, a Study-Free-Saturday-Night was a dream come true while it lasted!
