"WalShuFinAdaPat" is what happens when you try and think of a clever name for a family portrait session that consists of EIGHT parents, SEVEN kiddos, and ONE amazing grandma.
A few weekends ago, the Walch/Shuler/Fincher/Adams/Patton Family all collided in Fayetteville and I was privileged enough to get to spend a few moments with them and document this reunion.
I love this family so much, so it was food for my soul to be around them.
And as an added bonus, my close-to-my-heart-high-school-accountability-partner,
Annie, had her first baby, Olivia, 6 months ago, and this was our first meeting! Ughh....I was chomping at the bit to kiss those cheeks and pinch those cute baby legs. She is so precious.
So...without further a due...
Meet Family #1: John, Annie, & Olivia Patton
Family #2: Chris, Amanda, Parker & Will Adams.Unfortunately, Chris couldn't make the trip from Colorado {where they live} because of work. He was definitely missed. But it was so fun to hang out with their boys. They are two of the sweetest boys I think I've ever met.Quick funny story: After we got done taking pictures, we went out for pizza and then back to the house to hang out. When Amanda was putting Parker and Will down for bed one of them said, "Mommy, is our photographer going to spend the night with us?" Ha! She then went on to explain how "the photographer" was actually a good friend. I thought that was the cutest little story.
Family # 3: John, Alaina, Josie, & Kaiya ShulerHow precious is this little family! Josie & Kaiya's sweet brown eyes just melt my heart. These are two really special girls {with awesome parents, I should add}. I wish I was able to be around them more!
Alaina is a Beautiful Mom! Happy Birthday Today, Friend!! :)
And last but not least...Family #4: Scott, Allison, Silas, & {the newest member of the family} Rosie {named after her amazing Grandma...who you will meet in a minute!}
This might be one of my absolute favorites. Ever.Hey, if you're going to kiss your baby sister, you might as well give her all you've got! :)Hopefully this habit will be broken before he turns 15.
4 Hot Mamas. Literally.
Now, finally some with "Dee". Rosemary {aka "Dee"} is the reason all the these mamas have beautiful smiles! She is not only their amazing mom, but a Godly woman of great character, who touches the lives of everyone she meets. Including mine. Rosemary you are wonderful. {ok, I have to stop now because I am now sitting here with tears streaming down my face.}
All the mamas with their kiddos.
"Dee" with all her grand-babies.
Thank you Walch/Shuler/Fincher/Adams/Patton {WalShuFinAdaPat} Families for letting me spend time with you while you were in town. I loved every minute of it....but even more I love each one of your sweet families.
