Our Cozy Abode

Today was a life-changing day for Del. We got our chimney swept and he is now able to have a fire in the fireplace!! He made the comment that "our lives are now better" because we can have a fire. I will agree it does bring an extra element of coziness to our little abode. So, I thought I'd take this opportunity to show you a few pics of this little place we call home. (Since I realized today that we have been living here for 4 months now...and you have no idea what our place looks like. For all you know we could be living in a shack that has internet connection) So, here we go!

First off, Del wanted everyone to see the amazing fire we had going tonight!

Del was so excited about studying by the fire, he moved a card table in the living room to do so!

A lady that Del worked with in the Pharmacy made the "Sloneker" doily for us for a wedding gift...and I just got a frame for it this weekend!

This is my little corner off the kitchen where I spend time studying, blogging, or wasting time on Facebook.

There is also a screened in back porch and a great backyard that Mack is doing a great job protecting. Maybe I'll post pictures of those in the Spring, when they are clean and nice pretty grass is growing!

*Notice I didn't post pictures of Del's Office...It looks like a tornado hit it...so once I get it all cleaned up I'll post some pictures! :)
