So far, the first day of Christmas Break has been phenomenal!! (And yes, it's Christmas Break for me AND Del, because the people I nanny for gave me 2 weeks off!! How awesome are they?! I mean, who doesn't love some paid time off !?!?) I guess you would say that it started last night. Del and I went on a date night to a restaurant that we hadn't been to yet, and we felt discriminated against the whole time...so we probably won't go back...but we got some really good laughs out of the deal. Then we came home...made a pallet on the floor in the living room...and slept in front of the fire and Christmas tree...dreamy right?! (It's a tradition we hope to carry on with our kids some day.) Then this morning, we woke up at 5:30, made breakfast casserole and cinnamon rolls, fell back to sleep until they were done, woke up, ate, exchanged stocking stuffers, and watched "Christmas Vacation"...because it's our First Day of Christmas Vacation!! After that, we headed to a ministry across town that the AMA (American Medical Association) teamed with to pass out Christmas Dinners and give free blood pressure screenings to people who needed it. It was great. Here are a few pictures to document the morning:

After that, we came home, went to the gym, and now I'm headed off to Wal-Mart. YIKES!! WHAT AM I THINKING? THE SATURDAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS!!
Then tonight we are going to see "Seven Pounds"...if you've already seen it, please don't tell me anything about it! I'll post my review tomorrow!

That is so fun that you saw my name on there! Im excited! Im glad I know a real live person that is doing it too! Not just a cyber buddy... which those are great too. Just saying...
